Hi, I’m Mindy!

In first grade, I wrote that my dream was to give people food. I found that piece of paper years later and laughed - not because it was funny, but because it was still true.

Food has always been the way I understand the world. Not just eating it, but exploring it. A new ingredient, a technique I'd never tried, a cuisine that came from somewhere completely different than where I grew up. Each one opened a door I didn't know was there. Behind those doors was a version of me that was more curious, more respectful, more alive to what's possible.

That's what I want to pass on.

The Topping Co. is a free resource on the full life of food. Where it comes from, how it's made, how it's celebrated, and how it returns to the earth. Think of it less like a website and more like something you find in your back pocket at exactly the right moment. You might not need it today. But when you do, I hope it's there.

This is for the curious. And for the ones who don't know yet that they are.
